Yahoo Mail's AI beta is rolling out innovative tools to help users better manage their emails and enhance their online shopping experience.

The latest feature, Shopping Saver, has the ability to locate forgotten store discount codes, credits, and gift cards buried in users' inboxes. This tool not only helps prevent users from losing out on potential savings, but it also suggests pre-written message drafts to send to vendors after making a purchase. This can potentially help users save money by applying relevant codes or cards, provided that the vendor accepts them.

Additionally, three other AI tools within Yahoo Mail are receiving updates. The search function now supports questions, not just names or keywords, and includes new filters for Date, From, and To. Writing Assistant, which helps users draft emails, now offers more tones for suggested messages, such as apologetic or urgent. Message Summary examines incoming emails and provides concise versions highlighting important details like requested actions and dates.

These updates, including Shopping Saver, are currently accessible through Yahoo Mail's AI beta program on iOS and web browsers, with registration open for interested users. While a public release date has not been specified, Yahoo has hinted at plans to make these features available to all users in the future.
